Hello Luceti and hello especially to all the New Feathers! I know how scary it must be to arrive here and not have a clue about what's going on but I promise you everything's going to be okay. You just need to be extra specially careful and look after yourself and your friends, and everything should turn out to be a-okay in the end. And if you don't know anybody here then don't worry, you can always come and talk to me if you like. My name's Milly Wolfwood and today it's been one whole year since I arrived in Luceti.
At first I thought it was all a very strange dream, because I came from a place where we don't have many trees or even seasons like we do here, but when I realised it wasn't I was a little bit confused, and it was especially confusing for me because the person who actually convinced me it was really happening was somebody I didn't think I would ever get the chance to see again, so I suppose I should really thank the Malnosso for bringing me here so I could see him again.
[She's quiet for a little bit, smiling to herself.]
So that's one thing you should remember about being here: no matter how bad it might seem, there is always something good that can come out of it. I suppose I'm really lucky that I had my friends here to greet me, and even though my best friend Meryl isn't here anymore and she's gone back home... there's always something to make you want to keep your chin up and look forward. And I have a lot to look forward to right now, I'm really a very lucky person. I've made wonderful new friends, I found my special someone when I never thought I would get to speak to him ever again, and then we got married last year and now...
[Oh what the heck, she can't help herself here, she's going to laugh because she's really so happy she can't contain herself.]
Now we're going to have a baby!

Date: 2012-03-08 03:34 am (UTC)Well, I'm not saying you shouldn't have a baby here. I'm just asking about the risks and everything. You're placing her in a world where we're experimented on in a split second, and there's no guarantee she'll be able to go home with you either. Then factor in the amount of dangerous people here and I'm just wondering if she's going to be okay here. It has nothing to do with your abilities as a parent, it just has to do with how crazy this place is.
[ It's okay. Tenten will be there to bring you down to reality. ]

It doesn't matter how crazy this place gets, we're going to do everything we can to make sure that our baby is kept safe here, and we have our friends to help us too. There is nothing I wouldn't do to look after my baby, not a single a thing.

Date: 2012-03-09 07:22 am (UTC)I know it's not ideal, but it's what's happening so I'm just going to have to make doubly sure that I do all I can to make sure my baby has all they need.
