I'm really sorry to have to write this, because it's rather sad news, but Miss Rem has had to go back home.


Has anybody seen Mr. Vash? We can't find him, and I'm starting to get a little worried. He shouldn't be alone right now.

I just don't know what to do. Meryl's so much better at this than I am.

[She's a little bummed, if she's being honest, but there's absolutely no point in admitting that to everyone and having them be worried about her instead.]

You shouldn't really be so harsh on Mr. Vash, he's allowed to be upset.

That's just it though. He's not acting upset at all. He's just trying to smile his way through it and pretend he's fine, like he always does!

So don't you start doing that too. [Because Amelia's got a lot of reason to be angry too, and all these people trying to pretend nothing's wrong isn't helping.] I haven't seen Meryl either--she's still gone too, isn't she?

Amelia. I've known Mr. Vash for a very long time now. That's how he is. I know it's not Sometimes he tries so hard to be kind to us that he doesn't realise that really he's making us worry, because we're sad that he's sad.

Of course if Meryl was here she would probably know just exactly what to do, but she's not so we're just going to have to try and find a way to be there for him and let him know that we just want him to stop hurting and be alright again.

I know that. I know-- [Ever since she saw Vash fall from the car, so sure he'd been killed, but still looking at her that way. Amelia's known, but that doesn't mean she's not pissed off about it.]

That's not why I asked. You and Meryl are close. It can't be easy on you either. [And damn it, Amelia's sick of all these people disappearing. She'd been taken, Rem and Meryl, and Jilly, and she can't do a damn thing about any of it.]

[And it's maybe forty minutes later that Milly arrives, stun-gun slung over one shoulder, a canvas hold-all across the other, and a large picnic basket in hand.]

[Vash smiles softly and waves. Then gets up when he realizes just how much stuff she's carrying. That gun is not light.] Whoa big girl, you didn't need to bring that much!

[Perfectly happy here with freakishly strong back and shoulders, don't mind her Mr. Vash. Don't mind her at all.]
