Hello Luceti, I hope everyone's doing well with all this lovely warm weather. Oh, and hello to all the new feathers who've arrived recently! My name's Milly Thompson, I've been here for... um... four months now! ...gosh has it really been four months?

[Pause. It looks like the Milly Thompson Thought Train Express has been derailed temporarily... Oh wait, it's back on track!]

Anyway I have a very special request and I'm looking for thirteen very special families to help give homes to our cat Kuroneko's babies. Now they're all very little right now and it's going to be a few weeks until they're old enough to leave their mother, but if anyone would like to give a home to Orenjineko, Sooty, Buttons, Buckles, Zippers, Gunpowder, Spaghetti, Donut, Pudding, Tomas, Bernardelli, Double Dollar or Geranium then please let me know! Now, they're too little now for us to know if they're boy kittens or girl kittens, but they're very sweet and we want them to go to very nice new homes with families who'll love them and look after them. Their mother's very adventurous though, so they'll probably grow up to be very independent cats. But if you're interested in having a kitten, please let me know! Or if you know Meryl or Mr. Priest or Mr. Vash or Miss Amelia or Miss Rem then you can always mention it to one of them.

Anyway! I hope you're all having a nice day, and if you could please look in your hearts to see if there's room in there for a kitten that would be just wonderful.

Wow, four months is a long time to be away from your home.

It does seem like quite a long time, but at the same time it just seems like it was only yesterday that I ended up here, it's funny. And it's not that bad; I might not be able to write home to my family, but I've got my very good friends here who make it worthwhile.

And of course you can come and see the kittens! They're so lovely, it would be a shame to hide them away.

[Vash isn't too far away. He'll be poking his head in after hearing that little announcement.] We're not keeping any of them? [But they're so cute!]

Fourteen cats are an awfully big responsibility Mr. Vash.

[Then she whispers:]

And I don't think M-I-S-T-E-R P-R-I-E-S-T L-I-K-E-S them too much.

I guess having friends here does help.

Should I come by now? Do you have an address so I can find you?

What? No! He loves them! He wants to keep them all! He won't admit it out loud but I saw him talking to himself about it! [Lies. All lies, but he hopes Wolfwood turns red in the face at least before he goes looking to kick him out a window.]

But do you think you could filter that adoption request from Legato? I don't want him to know that Rem's here. And I don't think he should have one of the kittens anyway.

It sure does! I didn't even know they'd been waiting for me to get here, but I'm here now and we're all together.

Of course you can come over! I'm at home now moving furniture around, so by all means come along. We live [directions go here.]

[Milly goes completely rigid, then immediately filters her post.]

I'm so sorry Mr. Vash. Sometimes... I just find it easier to just forget that that awful man's here so I don't have to think about him.

It's alright. [He didn't mean to make you feel bad. He just really doesn't like Legato.] I mean, he's been pretty quietly lately. Maybe he's trying to start a new life! [Or he's been shot and is recovering. Details. Details.]

It's not alright. Nothing about that evil man is alright at all. He's a monster.

[Very quietly steers one of the kittens back into the box when it looks like it's about to crawl out.]

I know you'll be very disappointed in me for saying this, but I think I hate that man Mr. Vash.

[He can't be too disappointed. Besides Knives he's one of the very few Vash is growing to hate too.]

Well, everyone can change. [But damn it, he still has to look on the bright side.] It just doesn't hurt to be safe until they do.

[But wanting to change subjects he reaches in to tickle little Donut's tummy.] Can't we keep a couple?

[Donut's the little runt of the litter with a brown patch over the left eye shaped like a donut.]

...I'll try and persuade Mr. Priest, but if I do you might have to help me keep the kitties out of our bedroom.
