[There's the sound of some background noise; birds tweeting, shrubbery being trodden underfoot, but above all that there's the sound of someone- a woman- humming cheerfully.]

Oh my goodness, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many plants before except in picture books! And isn’t it a lovely day? I’ve never had a dream before where I got to be in a forest, but if it means that I get to see lovely trees and animals like this then I don’t think I mind it at all!

[Some more happy humming can be heard, and footsteps through the undergrowth.]

My back’s all itchy. That’s funny, I don’t usually get an itchy back when I dream. Oh no, I’m not allergic to trees am I? That would be just awful! Magic Book, could you tell me if I’m allergic to trees?

Silly old Milly, of course the book isn’t going to tell you that, books can’t talk!

…I wonder if there’s a pudding tree? All my very best dreams have pudding somewhere, so it really doesn’t make a lot of sense if there isn’t a pudding tree…

[More humming, someone sure sounds cheerful. Then she stops.]

[Vash almost corrects you then sees the conversation above him. Maybe until Wolfwood figures out what he wants to do he'll keep quiet about that.]

Heh, hey there big girl. Out in the forest? Did you find any clothes near you? [If the Malnosso are making you freeze so help him, he'll uh... um... give them a stern talking to!]

Well I'm wearing a really pretty white dress, but I don't know where it came from because I don't usually go around wearing dresses in my dreams Mr. Vash.

And you're feet aren't freezing!? [He forgets how strong you can be, but he really hopes Wolfwood gets over his insecurities and finds you soon.]

Well I guess they are a little bit cold and wet, but it feels funny too!

Yeah, it does feel funny, doesn't it? [Vash is just glad it's a fairly warm day. It's so good to hear your voice after that war.]

It's maybe the strangest dream I've ever had, I can't believe I thought up magic books and giant forests like this, my imagination must be even more hyperactive than usual tonight. Maybe it's because today was such a big day.

It was? What happened? [When do you come from Milly? Maybe you don't know about Wolfwood yet.]

Well you just went off to go looking for your brother, Mr. Vash, and then me and the work team made some really good progress on the well and we had refried beans for dinner. And there was salad and pudding and... well, I'm afraid we finished all the donuts, but we'll get some more when you come back.

[Well... no luck there.] Oh, you did? Well, that's alright. As long as there are some fresh ones ready for when I get back! I like them best when they're fresh!

You bet Mr. Vash! And we'll get a whole mixed load of them too; powered and sprinkles and frosted with sprinkles, which ones do you like best?

Aw, I have to choose? Can't I just have them all?

Well I don't know, you'd have to ask Meryl about that, she's very strict with the household budget and we really should make them last...

Oh yeah... I really made you two work hard, didn't I? [It's funny, that was over a year ago now for him.] I'm sorry, I'll help out more when I get back.

[Will he come back? He seemed sure when he left, but now that he's faced Knives here and lost.

No. Now's not the time to think of that. Right now it's more important that Milly is taken care of.]

That's OK Mr. Vash, I'm working really hard to make more money with the well. You just come back safe, you hear me?

Yeah, I can guarantee it. [Sorry Milly, but he thinks it may be best for Wolfwood to break the dream thing to you. At least for Wolfwood's sanity right now.]

Well that's just wonderful. I like it when all my friends are in my dreams, it makes things feel so homely.
